Welcome to my online design portfolio. The work catalogued here was completed during my undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, between 2007 and 2011.
I am seeking to further my architectural career at a forward-thinking design firm with values that are in line with my own. I feel strongly that as designers it is our responsibility to address society’s crisis of consumption by using the site and its conditions to our benefit, rather than working against them. We must acknowledge that our designs become part of the larger built environment, and what that means in terms of our contribution to society’s overall consumption of energy and material resources. Maximizing efficiency, conservation and passive strategies is imperative when striving to design structures that are less taxing on our planet and our society.
Please take a look around, and enjoy.
